Structure From Motion
Structure from motion provides 3D models of objects based on photographs or digital images that show the objects at different distances and angles from the observer.
We are using this technology to try to quantitatively assess the individual contributions of plants to the thermal ecology of an ecosystem. We are doing this on green roofs in New York and in the arctic tundra.
